Alta Labs was created with the understanding that we were entering a market that is full of established companies, with competitive products, services, and pricing. We commend the work that has come before us and have always looked to improve and uplift the competition in the space. We love a competitive space, as we believe it brings the best out of all of us, and allows innovation to flourish. For this reason, we felt it was important to make it known that we welcome the challenge to create a better product, service, and opportunity than what has come before.
It has come to our attention that some of our competitors don’t like to play fair - swaying users, distributors, retailers, and content creators from supporting, stocking, or showcasing Alta Labs. We feel strongly that these tactics not only hurt innovation, but can destroy the trust between networking manufacturers and their users. We are resolute in our belief that these tactics are unethical and reject any such tactics used against other manufacturers.
We will never discourage our fans, users, creators, installers, distributors, or enjoyers of Alta Labs from utilizing other brands that are in the networking space. We see the competition as our opportunity to become better - and take pride in the strides we have made to bring features and services that have never been seen before, or were not easily accessible to network professionals previously. We welcome all fair competition in the space. As the “new kid on the block” - we have seen tremendous growth and adoption of Alta Labs over the last two years and are extremely grateful for those who have given us a chance to show we are a serious competitor. We launched with products that have shown through multiple rounds of testing, both internally and via third-party, that they are outperforming the competition. The greatest feedback we’ve received is that Alta Labs products not only work, but they work better than the competition. We’ve also aggressively priced our products - not only beating the competition in MSRP price, but have included margin that competitors are not. We know the exhaustion of paying for licences and support - so we’ve created a business model that can grow and succeed without utilizing those tactics. This isn’t a “get quick gimmick” to gain users, and then pull the rug out from under them. We will continue to provide zero licensing or support fees for our products and management platform.
With a handful of products and features launching in 2025, and more planned in the coming years - we are confident that we can make an impact and be highly successful without tearing down or interfering with the success of other brands. We want to reemphasize that Alta Labs is confident in our own abilities to grow, and have not, nor will not stop other companies from being their best - regardless of their affiliation or partnership with mutual groups or users.
